| Esteemed friends, after all the hard work that has gone into establishing and promoting the Protected Geographical Indication “Lamb of Extremadura” CORDEREX, we welcome you to our webpage, thereby widening the commitment that we maintain to the consumers and professionals within the sector. The use of new modes of communication is an example of the adaptation and the modernization that has been, and continues to be, experimented with by the ovine sector in Extremadura since 1997, by the Order of April 9th published in the D.O.E., when the Regulatory Council of CORDEREX was formed and began to apply its regulations. The objective of this page is to be accessible to all those persons that are interested in getting know us in an easy, simple and rapid manner. With this in mind, the content of the page is divided according to the sections you might like to access, including information about the functions and procedures involved in certification of CORDEREX meat, as well as sections more specifically directed at the meat sector or at the field of gastronomy in efforts to be of service to any member of the public who might visit our web page. Taking advantage of this opportunity and in the name of all the members of the Council, I thank all those participating in the P.G.I. for their hard work. COREREX, farmers, classification centers, butchers, chopping rooms and commercial entities that are part of this project, also thanks to all the restorers, sales venues and consumers that have put their confidence in CORDEREX.
